Hungarian Woman Pleads Guilty for Online Fraud Scheme


A 34 year old Hungarian woman,Beatrix Boka, pleaded guilty for moving approximately $550,000 in a fraud scheme via ebay. Teamed up with other frauders,they advertised on eBay and other online shop site,that they were selling vehicles. These car didn't even exist. Beatric role was to open different bank account with fake identities so that when a victim showed interest in buying the vehicle,he/she would be redirected,through emails sent by the other frauders,to wire payments to one among those bank accounts.A total of 36 victims sent around $550,102 to those bank account.Beatric Boka faces a 5 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
