Barrett Brown Pleads Not Guilty to Charges
Anonymous self proclaimed spokesperson pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.He has been charged for his role in the end of 2011 hack which targeted Stratfor.The authorities are blaming him for being involved in the hack and they are accusing him of trafficking stolen authentication features,aggravated identity theft,etc..
The prosecutor said that by posting the links of the file containing details of over 5000 credit cards stolen from Strarfor,he has breached the law.They also stated that he not only possessed the credential but has also shared it to others.If he is found guilty,he may be sentenced for a maximum of 15years in prison for trafficking charges,10 years for the access device fraud charges and 2 years of identity theft.
