University of New South Wales Australia Database Leaked
A hacker calling himself "@DARWINARE" has leaked the database of UNSW.This document consists of around 20000 student and staff login credentials.The password are unencrypted.The hacker listed all the available databases,a total number of 23.There was an SQLi vulnerability through which the hacker was able to retrieve the database.He also added a message at the start of the document which goes as follows:
"I am not here to follow. Iam not here to lead! I am not here to follow. Iam not here to lead! I am not here to follow. Iam not here to lead!"
We hardly advise the university student to change their password if possible in the meantime until this vulnerability is fixed by the University.
